Centaurea cyanus - Double Blue


A hardy annual flowering the same year, in sun or partial shade with lovely double, blue flowers on thin, wiry stems.


Sow outdoors from March - April, .3cm deep, in flowering position.


Keep moist. Thin seedlings to 30cm apart.


Alternatively sow in September in pots or modules, to avoid root disturbance when potting on in early spring. Overwinter in frost-free conditions.


Flowers from June - September. Remove dead flowers to prolong  flowering season.

Height 75cm, spread 30cm.
