What You Sow is closing – Thank you and adieu

After many years curating a selection of gifts for people who love to grow things, it's now time to hang up my gardener’s hat and bid you a fond farewell.

Last summer, I had to temporarily close What You Sow due to health issues and since then I’ve been looking for someone to take over the business from me. With the amount of goodwill and enthusiasm for What You Sow, I would’ve loved it to continue as a purveyor of gardening gifts for many years to come. However, after exploring many avenues, this didn’t work out so I’ve decided to officially close What You Sow.

Running the business has been a wonderful experience – I’ve learned lots and thoroughly enjoyed getting to know all the customers, suppliers, journalists and collaborators who helped to make each day at What You Sow such a joy. I am moving on with many happy memories. Any small business owner will tell you how difficult it is to operate in today’s incredibly tough retail environment and after experiencing for myself quite how challenging it is I have an incredible respect for all the small businesses doing so well out there.

Many thanks to all of you for your support over the years, I couldn’t have done it without you.

May you all have many happy hours of gardening ahead of you, wishing you the very best for the future.

Kindest regards

Lyndsey Haskell
