Our customer service is of utmost importance to us and we intend these terms and conditions to provide everything you need to comfortably and securely use our shop to buy lovely gifts for gardeners. These terms and conditions govern your use of our website; by using our website, you accept these terms and conditions in full.

How to place an order
Browse the What You Sow range of gifts for gardeners using the “SHOP” section or by viewing our products by collection or price.
Select the items you would like to buy using the button “ADD TO CART”. Continue shopping as per the above.
You can “VIEW CART” at any time by clicking the button in the top right hand side of the screen. When viewing the Cart, you can alter the amount you wish to purchase by inputting the required quantity in the box (if there is not enough stock to meet your requirements you will be immediately informed) and remove items by selecting “Remove” to the right of the item.
Press “Update” to refresh your order after any changes.
Please add any special instructions or comments to the box below the list of products in your cart.
When you are ready to pay, select “CHECK OUT”, on right hand side below your list of items and you will be taken to our secure payment gateway, PAYPAL. Here you can either login to your paypal account or choose to pay by debit or credit card.
You will then return to our website where you have the option to insert a discount code if you have one.
If you don’t want to receive occasional emails about new products, promotions and other news, please uncheck the box.
Select “Continue to next step”
You will have a chance to review your order, then select “Complete my purchase” to complete your purchase. At this point you have the option to “Cancel and return to store”.
A confirmation will appear on screen and you will have the option to set up an account with What You Sow, making check out quicker next time.
After you have placed your order you will receive an email from WHAT YOU SOW confirming that we have received and are processing the order. You will also receive a separate receipt from PayPal.
By completing and submitting an order you are confirming that you agree to our terms and conditions and are making an unconditional offer to purchase goods which, if accepted by WHAT YOU SOW, will result in a binding contract.
Another email will be issued to you upon dispatch. This second email will constitute our acceptance of the offer.
Should you wish to cancel the order before it has been dispatched, please contact us immediately by email at email@example.com.
Creating an account
To create an account, choose a password and select “Create Account”. You will receive an email confirming that you have set up an account with WHAT YOU SOW and next time you shop with us, you can save time at checkout by logging in. This will prefill your address information at the checkout.
We happily accept Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Maestro, Solo, American Express, or regular account payments all through our secure payment gateway PayPal. We take your card security very seriously. PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit and verifies that your Internet browser is running Secure Sockets Layer 3.0 (SSL) or higher with an encryption key length of 168-bits (the highest level commercially available).
Since November 2014 we accept What You Sow gift cards and eVouchers as a form of payment, including payment of shipping costs.
You do not need a Paypal account to make a payment.
We do not store your financial details.
UK delivery costs £3.20 on all orders.
Items will be delivered Royal Mail First Class. Please note this is not a tracked service. In some cases, if the value of an order is exceptionally high, or the weight is very heavy, WHAT YOU SOW reserves the right to send the order via a tracked service.
Shipping to other countries will incur a higher fee depending on the country.
There are some items which we currently cannot ship outside of the EU for legal reasons. If you try to order one of these items for delivery outside the EU we will be in touch to tell you we are unable to dispatch them and will refund you for the items in full.
All items come carefully packaged and we reuse packaging where we can.
You will receive an automated email when you have placed your order. Items will be dispatched once payment has been approved. A second email will be issued upon dispatch. Orders are sent out within three working days.
Although we aim for delivery within 3-5 working days, we cannot be held accountable for circumstances beyond our control which may include postal strikes or delays.
We hope that you will be delighted with your purchases but if for any reason you are not then returns will be accepted within 28 days of dispatch providing the items have not been used and are still in a saleable condition. Items must be returned unopened, with packaging intact. WHAT YOU SOW will provide a full refund, excluding postage.
Postage will be at your expense, unless the return is due to a fault in our processing or the item itself, in which case please contact us prior to posting.
When returning an item you must first contact WHAT YOU SOW at firstname.lastname@example.org. You will need to provide us with your order number and reason for return. Once this information has been received we will process your request as quickly and effectively as possible.
You must then return the item to WHAT YOU SOW within 28 days of dispatch in the condition it was sold in, with your original order number stated clearly on the external packaging. Please send returns to the following address:

We will contact you once the item has been received and a refund will be issued.
We recommend you use a recorded delivery service for your own protection. We cannot accept responsibility for postage fees or for any items damaged, lost or stolen in transit.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
