Community initiatives

Giving back and helping out in our local community is an important part of What You Sow and in this respect, we love to get involved in helping local good causes. We have been involved in the Greenhouse @ Emmaus Brighton community food garden and shop since the very beginning and played a big part in the 2014 Chelsea Fringe event “Beyond the Yellow Brick Road”.

We support The Green Centre Mile of Potatoes project annually and regularly volunteer with local food charity FareShare in their warehouse, helping them prepare food orders to deliver to the 80 projects they support.

And starting in Christmas 2015 we donated an item of food to children's lunch club charity CHOMP for every item we sold on Black Friday. The initiative was such a success we are going to do the same each year from now on.

If you’re interested in finding out more or getting involved in any of these projects, please drop us a line and we’ll be delighted to tell you all about them.
