Courgette - Black Beauty Dark Fog

An early maturing variety producing flavourful, dark blackish-green, glossy, firm but tender fruits over a long period. Best harvested when 15cm long.

Sow seeds in April/May, singly, on their edge about 1.25cm deep in small pots and place in a temperature of 65-70F (18-21C).

After germination grow on in a well-lit spot, harden off and plant out after last frosts, when the weather is warm (mid May in the south east).

Plant 1m apart in a sunny, open site in moist, humus-rich soil. Feed weekly with a liquid fertiliser to ensure a steady supply of young fruits.
